In this work, I explored the depths of feminine emotion through the lens of expressionism and semi-abstract art. I used acrylics and pen to capture the tension and intense reflection of the subject: a woman who struggles with everyday life, weary of the tedious, and reflecting after her "battle."
The vigorous brushstrokes and blended colours convey this moment of inner weariness, between strength and fragility.
