This work represents a landscape of the last afternoons of August, when the sky fills with clouds announcing rain, there is a saying, Bricked sky, wet ground in 24 hours.
The painting is executed with oil paint on a wooden frame.
The artist wants to focus attention on the yellow sky and the geometric fields. He uses cadmium yellow in almost the entire painting, with the intention of transmitting the light and warmth of summer afternoons.
The work… is presented framed with a box profile, made of natural wood.

Marietta Negueruela is an experienced artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and France. Her most recent works revolve around the landscape and are inspired by metaphysics, the Renaissance, and geometric forms. Color also plays a fundamental role in Negueruela's artistic practice. She primarily creates with watercolors, acrylics, and oils.
