About this artwork
In this work, I have fused cubism with metaphysical touches to capture the transitory essence of light at dusk over a geometric setting. I used oil to bring to life the shapes and colors that intersperse and expand towards the horizon, invoking a sense of infinity and calm. My intention is for this painting to not only decorate a space, but also bring deep serenity and constant contemplation, energizing the environment with its mystical and colorful… presence.
It belongs to the series of geometric landscapes inspired by the fields of Castile.
Recent work by the artist in which the seasons of the year can be seen.
This work belongs to a late spring.
It represents a stormy afternoon.
« Throughout my career, I have evolved through different stages, between new figuration and magicical realism, but always through my own style. »
