This painting is part of what the author calls the portrait of an artist or the artist's wishes.
The artist was trained in Italy and in this work the influence of Italian painters can be seen, dedicating this work to Morandi.
Symphony of blues and greens broken by fruit orange.
This series of paintings are made between 2017 and 2018 and are based on desire, longing and the need for the color blue, painted by instinct and pleasure and the need… to escape to those paradises in which the contemplation of the sea produces an effect beneficial for the soul. The sea engraved in the retina of my years lived on the shores of the Mediterranean.
These paintings can be included in the so-called "New Magical Realism".

Marietta Negueruela is an experienced artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and France. Her most recent works revolve around the landscape and are inspired by metaphysics, the Renaissance, and geometric forms. Color also plays a fundamental role in Negueruela's artistic practice. She primarily creates with watercolors, acrylics, and oils.
