Lune Kintsugi presents a fractured sphere suspended in a field of pure black—its surface divided into quadrants of cool gray, deep teal wave patterns, and radiant gold, all connected by veins of shimmering gold pigment. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, where broken objects are repaired with gold rather than concealed, the work transforms division into beauty: the cracks are not flaws but the very source of the work's brilliance.

At its heart, sweeping teal ribbons evoke the movement of water or wind, adding a sense of tranquil movement within this otherwise planetary and motionless form.

Born in Riga in 1983, Maria Ruisi is an artist, researcher and artistic director of the Abstract Art Gallery, founded in 2010.
Her practice is rooted in sculptural abstraction — a multi-stage process combining acrylic, resin, and metallic pigments in three-dimensional relief. Each work is born from rigorous research into material, depth, and spatial perception.
Trained in fine arts and interior design, she has been developing a unique visual language for fifteen years: surfaces that breathe, forms that command silence.
His works are integrated into contemporary residences, architectural spaces and private collections across Europe and the world.
Every day, new works are born in his Riga studio.
