About this artwork
Kintsugi Eclipse is an original abstract painting by Inès Rouissi, from her Kintsugi Collection—a group of works inspired by the Japanese art of repairing broken objects with gold. A fractured sphere remains suspended in a field of pure black, as if caught in the midst of an eclipse: one half in cold gray and shadow, the other alive with deep teal waves and radiant gold, connected by veins of shimmering golden pigment. The cracks are not flaws but…
the very source of the work's brilliance.
Shipping: Shipped flat by default in a reinforced XPS case to protect the gold texture — a tube is not recommended. Via DHL Express.
