Marijan Loncar is a Croatian painter who has exhibited in the United States. At the beginning of his career, art was a way to escape the grim realities of life. He admits that if there are any messages in his compositions, they are subconscious. Loncar favors an abstract expressionist style and creates using acrylics, pastels, oils, as well as collage and digital media.
