WINTER THAW happens every winter when temperatures rise for a brief period. Melting snow and ice reveal golden colors, reflective pools of water, bare branches and dry grasses.This art work can be installed in any direction, and, as the title suggests, it will continually evolve. Painted with energized brushwork and highly textured. I am attracted to natural elements that are often overlooked or considered ordinary - it is there that I find the extraordinary.
