Sunflowers are often given to people who need encouragement or those who need love in life! Sunflowers can also mean gratitude and appreciation.
Despite its bright appearance, sunflower does not belong to plants that express romantic feelings. The symbol of loyalty… inherent in the "flower of the sun" is closer to friendship and relations between relatives. In other words, sunflowers symbolize brotherly or friendly love, no more.
