Board game, a scrabble with a set of letters making up words from the highway code, French signage and the dictionary of the town of Trévoux, where my workshop is located. The dominant color: green. The four-care symbol in the painting is a point of view (a nod to my diverted road signs). Marina DH is a French artist whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally. Often incorporating road signs into her compositions, she believes that the diversion and integration of an everyday object allow for multiple messages to be conveyed. For DH, this symbol constitutes an alphabet that is composed of semantically rich shapes, signs, and colors.
