About this artwork
This pencil drawing in shades of gray is dedicated to the magic of dance through the female body. On the paper, I have tried to capture the plasticity and energy of the dancer, who comes to life in the rhythm of the music. Every movement is an expression of emotion, grace, and power.
I observed dancers during training sessions and competitions, drawing inspiration from their technique, expressiveness, and artistic presence. Their bodies become instruments… that speak of joy, sensuality, and the moments when music and emotions merge into a single movement.
In the drawing, special attention is paid to the shapes, shadows and lines — the grey tones emphasize plasticity and dynamism and create a feeling of movement and character of the dance.
