About this artwork
Oil painting "Wish", 80 × 60 × 2 cm
Second work in the series "My Inner World"
In this series, I combine the multi-layered techniques of old masters with contemporary painting to show my inner world.
About the girl inside me,
who grew up between sun and wind on the Caspian Sea, in beautiful Turkmenistan.
A legend tells of glowing little fish that make wishes come true:
Hidden during the day, they rise to the surface at night and shimmer gently.…
They only appear when a wish is pure and sincere — for oneself and for others.
Since then, people have believed:
If you approach the sea with an open heart, it will hear you —
Perhaps not immediately, but unmistakably.
Have you already expressed your wish?
With love,
Marina
Marina Kaiser works primarily with oil, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, and pencil; born in Turkmenistan on the Caspian Sea, she now lives and works in Germany. She creates multi-layered paintings in which she combines classical techniques of old masters with modern approaches—figuration and abstraction merge harmoniously. Her works portray feminine strength and fragility, movement and light, often in graceful portraits and floral motifs—they deeply touch the viewer, inviting reverie, sensuality, and emotional resonance.
