Swarm is a painting about collective movement—and what lies in between. It doesn't depict bodies in the classical sense, but rather a dynamic: a coexistence in constant change, fleeting, vibrant, fragile.
I'm preoccupied with the ambivalence of this moment. Are they fleeing? Are they landing? Or are they simply continuing to circle?
The composition thrives on contrasts: soft feathers meet hard claws, delicate colors meet rough lines, lightness… meets tension. In this friction, something unique emerges – a feeling of simultaneous closeness and defensiveness, of connection and loss of control.
Swarm asks whether we are really moving towards each other – or just fleeing in the same rhythm.
