Marine Strage, a French artist based in California, wields acrylic, spray paint, and oil paint to create landscapes imbued with her rich past. Her style mixes expressionistic, geometric, and atmospheric elements to forge vibrant, striking pieces. Deeply influenced by the places she's traversed from Brittany to California, her works inspire viewers to challenge their perception and connect with a profound narrative engrained in each piece.
Born in Brittany, France, she graduated from the Sorbonne University before pursuing a career in advertising in Paris and London. From 2001 she
started studying fine arts and went to Central Saint Martins School of Art in London for her MA in painting. Strage moved to California in 2013, and since 2015 has developed her practice from her studio in Sausalito. Her work is held in private and public collections in the United States and Europe and has been exhibited across California. She was a recipient of the 2019 Crocker Kingsley Juried Exhibition.
