About this artwork
"VARIANT III" This painting, created on 300 gsm American paper, was produced for a solo exhibition held in 2023 at the ARROYO Gallery in Buenos Aires. Its overall atmosphere aims to convey the same sensations that future human dwellings will evoke as we colonize outer space, beginning with Earth's satellite, the Moon, and continuing with those that will be established on Mars, the most studied planet in the Solar System. These paintings will convey…
the idea of space and its weightlessness, its silence, its peace, and these same experiences can be felt by those who hang them in their homes.

Credentials
- Works on commission
Mario Agatiello is a painter who works primarily with acrylic paints on canvas stretched over a wooden frame and framed in a durable, shiny gold anodized aluminum frame. His style is characterized by the technical mastery of depicting human constructions in space, using brushes, rulers, and compasses to achieve precise forms and gradated colors. His works evoke an atmosphere of silence, suspended movement, and weightlessness, conveying a profound sense of peace and contemplation.
