About this artwork
-The work is reserved and available for selection until 17.08.2025-
The flowing, almost floating forms create a sense of movement and change. For me, the act of falling is not the shocking event that is at the forefront of my perception, but rather, in the search for meaning, it is reduced to the function of a trigger. "Falling-Rising" is more of a journey through emotions and transformations. A visual poetry that invites the viewer to reflect… on their own personal perceived obstacles and immerse themselves in reflection. Thus, the rocks in particular—despite their seemingly monumental appearance—demonstrate both vulnerability and changeability. Mountains are ground down by water and wind, becoming sand and dust, and thereby achieving a kind of antagonistic ability to "break away, move on, and rise again." This painting will bring this dynamic and powerful atmosphere into any home.
« Art is the highest form of transformation - change is the deepest meaning of art. »
Marion Doxie Delaubell is an established German painter with national and now international renown. Her works are admired by admirers and collectors in Germany, the Netherlands, France, England, the USA, as far afield as Hong Kong and Japan. Fascinated by coexistence and the eternal cycle of becoming and passing away, by the infinitely small within the infinitely large, she primarily composes floral, semi-abstract works that are both concrete and openly incomplete. Her works are always elegant and a sensitive homage to all being. Her works encourage every viewer to join her interdisciplinary search for the deepest core in all things.
