About this artwork
This work already lived through many stages of being until it found itself in its final destination in 2019. It was a long journey and a complex one - and led to one of my most powerful images. The power-filled abstraction of freedom and nature, of strength and eternal change.
Storms have something very special about them: namely something cleansing, awake, shaking, strong, changing - with their very special swirling and heroic chords. Pure movement.… Pure change.
Everything in our universe is constantly in motion, sometimes calmer, sometimes stronger and livelier. And one thing alone is constant in this process: change. The supposedly rigid horizon is not manifest either. Because it is only an imaginary line, which - when you approach it - shifts towards infinity ...
