From the Mighty Women series, a woman in repose, enjoying the feeling of relaxation on patterned bedding. Bodacious is a particularly American term, which combines the words bold and audacious together. Bodacious means bold, audacious, and brazen. Sometimes it can mean attractive and sexy as well. I think this mighty woman is definitely deserving of this title...it’s all there in black and white!

« I have a zest and enthusiasm that emanates from every painting, along with a talent for stunning color combinations and remarkable execution. My artwork 'lights up a room'! »
Marion Evamy is an artist based in Canada whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. The themes of her works revolve around humans and their body language. However, she does not seek to realistically portray people, rather, Evamy's abstract compositions are distorted and exaggerated in order to depict our quirkiness. She describes her pieces as playing with the many aspects of design, composition, color, balance, and mystery.
