Coco explores the possibility of metamorphosis. Between fragments of the body, organic forms, and natural elements, the work evokes a state where fragility becomes the starting point for a new relationship with the living world. Mushrooms, hands, and anatomical fragments compose an organism in perpetual transformation, where nothing truly disappears, but everything changes form. Two hands reach for each other without ever fully grasping one another.… This hesitation speaks to the difficulty of making contact, while leaving open the possibility of an encounter. Through collage, I create a dialogue between anatomy, plant life, and the imagination to construct an inner landscape where traces do not disappear: they become a new way of inhabiting the world.
Marion Revoyre, a self-taught, multi-talented artist, expresses herself through collage, sculpture, drawing, photography, and many other media, guided by her intuition. Her highly distinctive technique resembles surgical montage: she fragments and recomposes bodies and faces, creating works that are both seductive and unsettling, disturbingly realistic, where post-traumatic violence is palpable. Through her creations, she seeks to make visible the invisible scars of the soul, evoking in the viewer a profound emotion, a vibrant unease, and a raw, visceral humanity.
