About this artwork
"The Dreamer" was born from a suspended moment: that moment when the mind distances itself from the noise of the present and opens to what is not yet there, yet insists on being seen. In painting this figure, I wasn't looking for a specific face, but for an energy: the silent magnetism of someone who guards a dream and protects it like a fragile light. The soft tones interact with the essential composition, creating an intimate, almost confidential… atmosphere. The protagonist doesn't look at the viewer: she looks beyond. She's drawn to an elsewhere that can't be described, but can be sensed. In that gaze lies a promise: that imagination is still a refuge, and a driving force. "The Dreamer" is for me a quiet but stubborn declaration. An invitation to keep alive the most visionary part within us, the one that continues to generate possibilities even when everything seems still. It's a reflection on the quiet power of imagination.
I consider myself a multifaceted artist by choice. This doesn't limit me, it liberates me without boundaries. I express myself through painting. My research develops through multiple artistic lines, which I consider complementary tools for expressing visions, emotions, and complex reflections. I primarily paint on canvas and wood, ranging from abstraction, religious symbolism, and the female nude, with a particular focus on the theme of violence against women. The multiplicity of languages I adopt isn't fragmentation, but an integral part of a coherent vision. I believe that being an artist today also means taking the freedom to explore, to reject rigid labels, and to construct a profoundly authentic language. "I don't create decorations: I create emotions to be owned. From abstract to figurative, each of my works is created for those who desire art that strikes, moves, and lingers. MY VERSATILITY IS MY SIGNATURE.
