About this artwork
When I created Flashes of Color, I felt the need to capture a sudden, almost electric energy. Each brushstroke came as an instinctive impulse, a quick gesture that leaves no time for thought. I wanted the canvas to be shot through with flashes, as if light itself were trying to find its way through the chaos.
The sharp contrasts between colors are not accidental: they represent those emotions that arrive suddenly, collide, explode, and then recompose… into a new harmony. Vibrant yellows in particular are my "flashes": moments of clarity, sudden insights that emerge from the tangle of darker tones.
Looking at this work, I see the power of the moment in which I painted it. It's instinctive, impulsive, and authentic. A small emotional earthquake captured on canvas.

I primarily paint on canvas and wood, ranging from abstraction, religious symbolism, and the female nude, with a particular focus on the theme of violence against women.

I believe that being an artist today also means taking the freedom to explore, to reject rigid labels, and to construct a profoundly authentic language.
