About this artwork
Origine was born from a silence I carry within me. I am not a mother, and this void has left a subtle shadow in my life, a wound that cannot always be expressed. Painting this scene was a way for me to delicately approach what I will never be able to experience, but which I continue to feel deeply.
The wood I chose as my support is a fragment of nature that preserves memory and cycles, a living body that welcomes what I can only imagine. In rapid,… textured brushstrokes, I let go of what I don't have, transforming pain into creative gesture. The mother I paint is not an ideal, nor a reflection of myself: she is a symbol, an inner place, a desire expressed through form.
In Origine I do not recount a personal experience, but an emotional intuition: birth as a mystery, intimacy as a sacred space, love as a universal possibility.

I consider myself a multifaceted artist by choice. This doesn't limit me, it liberates me without boundaries.
I express myself through painting. My research develops through multiple artistic lines, which I consider complementary tools for expressing visions, emotions, and complex reflections. I primarily paint on canvas and wood, ranging from abstraction, religious symbolism, and the female nude, with a particular focus on the theme of violence against women.
The multiplicity of languages I adopt isn't fragmentation, but an integral part of a coherent vision. I believe that being an artist today also means taking the freedom to explore, to reject rigid labels, and to construct a profoundly authentic language.
