L.C.D. Liquid Crystal Dismay
An upside-down, futuristic space featuring two young Japanese girls in a doorway. A man dissolves in bright light. The girls are disconnected to each other and the third party in he room. The bizarre and unattached environment doesnt seems to affect them. So unaware and deeply involved with other matters. The room as presented is based on the interior of Museum Mumok in Vienna, the Japanese girls were also captured at… a touristic site in Vienna and finally the dissolving man is derived from my lover. This painting is part of the 'Brave New World' series (inspired on Aldous Huxley’s dystrophic science fiction Brave New World 1932)
