About this artwork
In 2023 I started working on my flower collection. Flowers always fascinated me with their distinctive colours and shapes. Roses are my favourite flowers and I am growing a few beautiful varieties in my garden. When it is summer you would find me in my garden with a camera - taking pictures, or with a spade or watering can. Gardening fills me with joy, while painting is almost a meditation.
This is one of my favourite roses in my garden - Golden… Wedding. Her petals shine like gold in the sun and multiple blooms fill the garden with strong sweet fragrance.
This time I painted the original background - dark foliage in shade.
