About this artwork
In 2023 I started working on my flower collection. Flowers always fascinated me with their distinctive colours and shapes. Roses are my favourite flowers and I am growing a few varieties in my garden. When it is summer you would find me in my garden with a camera - taking pictures, or with a spade or watering can. Gardening fills me with joy, while painting is almost a meditation.
This is a Compassion Rose from my garden. I love her delightful apricot-pink… blooms and a strong sweet perfume.
