About this artwork
The years pass, but the color remains inside – it does not fade, it does not fade. The face grows with the colors of the past: warm orange is the energy of the past, deep blue is a trace of reflection, green is the peace of acceptance.
A fishbone like a memory stuck in your thoughts. Or maybe a symbol of time, which we "chew", but cannot always swallow?
Old age here is not withering, but accumulation. Each shade is a day lived, and the picture remains… alive as long as the colors remain.

Zeltsman Mariya – Contemporary Artist Exploring the Structure of the World Through Symbolism, Expressionism, and Decorative Art
Born in Odesa, Ukraine, Mariya has felt since childhood that painting is her true calling and means of self-expression. She graduated from an art school and later from the Fine Arts Faculty at a university, where she was mentored by renowned masters and honored artists of the USSR. Their influence helped her develop a deep understanding of form, color, and composition.
Until 2022, she lived and worked in Odesa, actively participating in the art scene through solo and group exhibitions. After the war began, she moved to the USA, then to Spain, and later to Israel, where she continues her artistic journey.
