About this artwork
is a summing up, but not always happy. Sometimes the end of the story is unsatisfying, sometimes it is just a period in a long sentence whose meaning remains open. Bright colors enhance the drama: rich red is like passion, anxiety or even a warning; black is the background of uncertainty, and fried eggs are a consequence of decisions that can no longer be changed.
For me, this work is a game of meanings and forms, an experiment with perception. It… has humor, but also philosophy: not always everything ends as we would like, and the ending is not always a happy ending.

Zeltsman Mariya – Contemporary Artist Exploring the Structure of the World Through Symbolism, Expressionism, and Decorative Art
Born in Odesa, Ukraine, Mariya has felt since childhood that painting is her true calling and means of self-expression. She graduated from an art school and later from the Fine Arts Faculty at a university, where she was mentored by renowned masters and honored artists of the USSR. Their influence helped her develop a deep understanding of form, color, and composition.
Until 2022, she lived and worked in Odesa, actively participating in the art scene through solo and group exhibitions. After the war began, she moved to the USA, then to Spain, and later to Israel, where she continues her artistic journey.
