About this artwork
Cormorant – Between Light and Shadow is a limited fine art canvas edition of my original oil painting on Dibond.
A cormorant stands against an atmospheric field of warm light and deep shadow. Rich blues, violets, reds and orange tones flow through the composition, while expressive brushstrokes give the bird both strength and movement.
The image is reproduced using museum-quality Giclée printing on archival 340 gsm canvas, preserving the colour,… contrast and expressive character of the original painting. The canvas is stretched over a solid wooden stretcher, 3.5 cm deep, giving the work a substantial gallery-style presence and allowing it to arrive ready to hang.
This edition is strictly limited to 10 pieces. Each canvas is individually signed and numbered by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
