About this artwork
This painting was inspired by on of my sailing trips on Chesapeake Bay. It depicts an oyster sailboat at anchor in a quiet creek off Chesapeake Bay. It's a scene from my imagination, based on Granary Creek off the Wye River on the Easter Shore of Maryland that I have frequently anchored overnight in.
