About this artwork
This painting was inspired by a visit to North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The painting depicts a cowboy on horseback at the rim of the canyon, taking in it's majesty. We can't see his face, but my guess it is awestruck, which was my reaction the first time I viewed the canyon.
