About this artwork
"Your fight for power, answers and signs will bring you throw the dark to light" is a non verbatim quotes quote from the song "Kingdom of welcome addiсtion" by IAMX. I chose the image of Amelie, one of my favorite films and favorite character. I took the idea from the film: to see a little more in everyday reality, always look at a deeper layer of reality hidden from the eyes. And the second thought is attention to unusual people, a quivering feeling…
that a person is a wonderful fragile world.
The canvas is full of details, abstractions, geometry. I wrote it for a month, gradually plunging into his world, without trying to control the process too much and staying spontaneous.

Mark Kucherov is a painter and draftsman based in Russia whose works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally.
