About this artwork
I painted this artwork during the days that the war was going on, just some 100 kilometers from me. I could not think of anything else, I lived my pain in art. The issue that bothered me the most was the psychology of people, the split that took place not only between people, but also in the souls of individuals.
"Your spirit is bleeding, incomplete and blamed to immorality" sounds in one of my favourite song.
Immorality. Ukrainians accuse you of… immorality because you are part of an aggressor country. The Russians blame you for not supporting the war. You have become an outcast both on your land and for the whole world. And you feel pain because you understand that both sides are victims of political games, redistribution of spheres of influence. Your soul is bleeding: everyone lost, and it is impossible to rewind time.
