About this artwork
I painted this scene after coming across this beautiful cove in Cornwall. I was taken by the changing light, creating a lovely moody atmosphere. The old weathered trees in the foreground added depth of looking down to the rocky cove below. Oil on canvas, rich colours with visible brush marks and use of palette knife. Semis gloss varnish finish.
