A few years ago the middle school I teach at was invaded by fidget spinners. While there is a percentage of kids who benefit from them, for the vast majority of our students they were just a distraction or toy. I think there are many more useful ways to direct extra energy. art in human history. This fluffy squirrel should be gathering nuts for winter but all his attention is on the fidget spinner. It will be a long, hungry winter for him if he doesn't put the toy down and focus on the work at hand.
