About this artwork
"Helios" is named for the Greek deity who drove his fiery chariot across the skies each day. Inspired by a beautiful sunrise I enjoyed sitting on the sand at Port Aransas Beach, this painting was part of my show "Transformation in the Wild World of Mark Nesmith" at the Longview Museum of Fine Art.
