The political landscape in the US is dominated by the Republicans and Democrats, and while many imagine these two behemoths going head to head I really think it's more like voters are being squeezed between two bickering playground bullies. With friends and family unfriending others because of political arguments it seems our nation grows more and more divided. Politics was never meant to be a way of life. It wasn't supposed to be a path to celebrity…
and fortune. We need leaders worth following. We need term limits. We need reform. Congress and our White House have lost touch with what it's like to grind away each day to pay bills and struggle to scrape out something of your own. Their policies don't affect them. If any of us behaved the way they do at our jobs and were so ineffectual we'd be unemployed. We need to hold our leaders to a higher standard. We need to hold each other to a higher standard. Don't be a sheep.
