Mark Perlman is an American painter whose art has been exhibited nationally, as well as in Russia and China. His paintings are part of the permanent collections of the California Museum of Art, and the Spanish Embassy of the United States, to name a few. The former art professor at California State University has been painting using encaustic techniques for over 35 years. Perlman's compositions are characterized by heavy textures and atmospheric light on wooden panels.
