About this artwork
In this piece, I played with vibrant colors and complex patterns to capture an explosive energy. The blend of comic elements and metaphysical depth reveals the inner conflict and playful power of my character. It exudes dynamism and rebellion—perfect for giving your room an intense, powerful atmosphere!
Markus Gley is a visual artist who studied with Georg Baselitz and Burkhard Held, among others. He graduated from the Berlin University of the Arts as a master student in Held's class, combining classical painting, digital art, and new technologies. He masterfully combines acrylic, oil, and digital components, often incorporating hidden QR codes that connect analog paintings with digital layers and NFTs. His works merge traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, creating interactive, ambiguous works of art that are simultaneously visible and invisible. In doing so, he conveys an intense tension between order and chaos, control and chance, inviting the viewer to a new self-perception.
