About this artwork
In this work, I have captured the tension between structure and chaos, inspired by urban patterns and Pop Art energy. Using acrylic and oil paints, I played with geometric forms to create a vibrant, almost pulsating composition. It is intended to create a dynamic atmosphere in the room, inviting reflection and feeling. This painting brings modern energy and rhythm to any home.

Markus Gley is a visual artist who studied with Georg Baselitz and Burkhard Held, among others. He graduated from the Berlin University of the Arts as a master student in Held's class, combining classical painting, digital art, and new technologies. He masterfully combines acrylic, oil, and digital components, often incorporating hidden QR codes that connect analog paintings with digital layers and NFTs. His works merge traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, creating interactive, ambiguous works of art that are simultaneously visible and invisible. In doing so, he conveys an intense tension between order and chaos, control and chance, inviting the viewer to a new self-perception.
