About this artwork
No matter how often, how long, at what time of day or night, the sea fascinates me with its seemingly endless variation of color, light, and form. Sometimes the water is darker than the sky, sometimes it's the other way around, then again the horizon is barely or not at all visible… sometimes wild, sometimes still, sometimes like a mirror… only one thing is always certain: HE WHO HAS THE SEA NEEDS LESS! and I am where I want to be and can be…
In… my artwork, I capture the fleeting encounter between reality and dream. This painting speaks of a threshold, a moment of transition where the visible merges into the invisible. With vibrant colors and the suggestion of movement hidden beneath the water's surface, I invite the viewer to surrender to their own thoughts and dreams. The work brings a calming yet dynamic energy to any space, a dialogue between the mysterious and the familiar.

A picture is like a new window in the house you live in. It can provide both a view and insight. It can show you the world and tell you about it, but also about yourself.
What fascinates me about painting is the immediacy of real time. Nothing can be limited, exaggerated, or repeated like with a computer. Painting requires maximum skill. Artistic experiences give the work its distinctive style.
You'll see, my pictures sneak surprisingly into the viewer's life. They lead us to new territory whose existence we only suspected. They invite us to spend our days and nights with them. They are like a good friend.
