About this artwork
Fine, multi-colored lines are arranged in a spiral motion to form a circle. The lines are sometimes alternating, sometimes overlapping at irregular intervals, creating a texture that expands and recedes. Gaps run through the spiral work of lines drawn on paper with acrylic, gold ink and India ink at asymmetrical intervals and in sequences of varying lengths. The overlays of the dark hatching create three-dimensional height and depth effects.
