About this artwork
Fine lines are arranged in a regular spiral to form a circle. The lines create a texture that expands and recedes. Gaps run through the spiral work of lines drawn with ink and graphos pen at irregular intervals and in sequences of varying lengths. The overlays of the hatching create contrasting highs and lows. The drawing is a piece full of movement, rhythm and calm. The matte translucency of the polyester film gives the drawing a lightness.
