About this artwork
Fine, multi-colored lines are arranged in a spiral motion to form circular fragments. The lines are sometimes alternating, sometimes overlapping, at irregular intervals, creating a texture that expands and recedes. Gaps run through the spiral work of lines drawn with ink on paper at asymmetrical intervals and in sequences of varying lengths. The warm yellow and red tones on the paper give the work a relief-like appearance.
