About this artwork
Here, all elements collide powerfully, dynamically and yet harmoniously. Blue, black and red tones flow into one another on the painting surface, salt crystals and imprints of fabric give the color mixture a three-dimensional texture. In the lower part of the picture, chains of chromosomes grow upwards like stalagmites. A dense network of lines spans the entire picture surface. The surfaces, shapes and structures that arise from the numerous overlaps…
are treated with a special solution, which dissolves or lightens part of the color base. Additional shading and textures of the remaining surfaces create a dramatic relief of height and depth. The mixture of drawing and graphic painting culminates in a futuristic vision of organic architecture.
