About this artwork
Circular lines rotate 180° around the center of the image. The segments of the circular pattern that are created by the overlaps are designed with shading and textures in ink, varnish and aluminum. The surfaces and lines dissolve as they rotate towards the center of the image, creating a suction effect. The asymmetrical combinations of the segments and colors lend dynamism to the otherwise strictly symmetrical composition.
