About this artwork
Amorphous structures like chromosome chains grow out of the painting surface in vertical cords. A dense network of straight lines overlays this proliferation beyond the edge of the picture. The intersecting lines form a complex, chaotic-looking surface work. Each surface of this network is designed in an interplay of shadows, opaque acrylic paint or with metal leaf (aluminum and brass).
