About this artwork
This artwork from the 'Land' series captures the precise moment when something powerful tears you out of the familiar flow of your life. It is an exploration of an encounter so immense and fast-moving that it leaves you frozen, even as the world around you shifts at incredible speeds.
Visually, the painting depicts a monumental wave transforming into a mountain range—a storm becoming solid ground. Using a contemporary mixed media approach, I examine… the boundary where the fierce energy of water gains the stillness of stone. The expressive brushwork and fluid textures of this original landscape translate the intensity of a frozen storm, where time stops amidst the chaos.
This metaphorical abstract piece is designed for collectors who find strength in transformation. It serves as a powerful reminder that even the most overwhelming storm can eventually become your new 'Land'—a stable foundation to stand upon.
I am a Ukrainian painter and visual artist based in Kyiv.
I spent nearly 19 years as a graphic designer and art director at agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi and Young & Rubicam. While this shaped my visual language, my true immersion into painting was catalyzed by the onset of the war.
Today, my work is an extension of my interest in psychology, psychosomatics, and the inner world. I am inspired by everything that brings conscious depth and health, helping us shed false beliefs and outdated ideas about human potential. I value self-discovery methods that keep us curious and truly alive.
I believe that by embracing our uniqueness, we inspire others to do the same. Currently, I explore the intersection of art, research, and healing. My paintings aim to create an environment that nourishes life and enhances well-being in every sense of the word.
