About this artwork
This work, **Calm V**, is a reflection of my quest to convey serenity and balance through textures and soft tones. I have worked on a horizon that is barely defined, leaving the viewer to complete the landscape in their mind. Earth and rust tones provide warmth, while greys and whites envelop everything in an ethereal, almost introspective atmosphere.
Water occupies the foreground, with soft reflections that provide subtle movement, but do not… break the feeling of stillness. The central texture, on the horizon line, is the key element: a delicate contrast that invites us to stop, breathe and contemplate. This play between the defined and the diffuse seeks to connect with that internal space where calm dwells, reminding us of the power of silence and simplicity.
