About this artwork
In this piece, I wanted to explore calmness through a composition that reflects balance and serenity. The central texture, which runs across the canvas from side to side, reminds me of a horizon line, as if I were capturing an abstract and minimalist landscape. I have worked the texture to give it an organic look, using earth tones that contrast subtly with the neutral background, creating an integration that allows the piece to breathe.
I like… how the soft hues in the background add depth without distracting from the texture, achieving a calm atmosphere that, for me, is essential in this series. The neutral colors and lack of contrast help to intensify the serenity of the work, bringing a simplicity that invites contemplation and makes the piece feel balanced and complete.
