"Forest Spiral" explores the hidden architecture of nature through layered organic forms and earthy structures. Inspired by an overgrown tree structure in the forest, the composition reveals rhythmic circular forms reminiscent of annual rings, waves, or vibrant landscapes.
The artwork was created using metallic acrylic, texture paste, and texture gel on canvas. The combination of these materials results in a multi-layered surface with haptic depth,… reflecting light in different ways and further enhancing the organic effect.

Marta Widowitz, trained in art history and applied arts, uses photography and acrylic painting in her works. Her technique is unique; she prints photographs on canvas and then adds a new dimension of depth and texture using acrylic, metallic acrylic, and texture paste. This process creates a play of light and shadow, making the image appear sometimes like a photograph, sometimes like a painting.
